캠브리지 사전의 뜻과 용례는 다음과 같습니다.

hang around (somewhere)

:

(UK also hang about (somewhere), hang round (somewhere))

to wait or spend time somewhere, usually for no particular reason.

I spent most of my youth hanging around the bars of Dublin.
